You might be here because…
Your business works. Your branding just hasn’t caught up yet.
You keep adjusting your website, but never quite feel settled sharing it.
You have the pieces (a logo, colours, maybe even a site) yet nothing fully holds together.
You’re not starting from scratch. You’re ready for it to be done properly.
That’s where the work begins.
Because when your brand is structured and aligned, everything else has something solid to stand on.
“She quickly understood my business vision. The entire process felt smooth and stress-free.”
Strategy before design
This work isn’t rushed and it isn’t one-size-fits-all.
Every project moves through five structured stages – in order, without shortcuts.
1. Weigh
Before anything is designed, we step back. Research. Strategic questioning. Market awareness.
What’s working? What’s misaligned? What no longer reflects the business accurately? This is where assumptions are replaced with clarity.
2. Interpret
Strategy becomes creative direction. We translate positioning into tone, structure and visual language – not trends, not decoration, but representation. This is where direction becomes clear.
3. Shape
Design, done deliberately. One considered concept. A cohesive identity system: logos, typography, colour and supporting elements built to work together. No piecing things together later. No overcomplication.
4. Refine
Precision over speed. We test, adjust and strengthen. Not to chase perfection, but to ensure accuracy. This is where confidence grows.
5. Release
Guidelines, files and implementation support. You leave with a brand that accurately reflects your business – and a system built to hold up over time. This is where hesitation fades.

The person behind the work
I’m Lesley Miles – brand designer and digital consultant based in Lanark, Scotland.
I work with established businesses who are ready for branding that actually reflects what they do and where they’re heading. Every project starts with strategy, because getting the thinking right before we design anything makes everything else easier.
I came to brand design because I love both sides of it equally – the visual craft and the analytical puzzle of working out how all the pieces fit together. When a brand finally clicks into place, that’s the part I live for.
When your brand is clear and consistent, your website, your content and how you come across all start to make sense together.

What happens next
We have a conversation
We talk through your business, what you’re looking for, and whether working together makes sense. No pitch, no pressure. Not a fan of video calls? We can do this over email instead.
You receive a proposal
If we’re a good fit, I’ll send a tailored proposal outlining exactly what the project involves, what it costs, and what you can expect. No surprises.
We work in stages
Payment is split into three: one to begin, one at a key milestone, and one before final files are delivered. Each stage has a natural review point, so you can move forward with confidence rather than committing to everything upfront.
How I Can Help
There are two main ways I can help,
depending on what your business needs now.
Brand identity
For businesses ready for a brand that reflects the level they’re operating at.
We work together to clarify what your brand truly needs to express, then shape that into a cohesive identity system – logo, typography, colour and supporting elements designed to work together with intention.
Often the right place to start if your business has grown, but your branding hasn’t caught up yet.
Website Design
For established businesses ready for a website that reflects the quality of their work.
Your website is designed around your brand and how you need to show up online – considered, structured and aligned with the way you want clients to experience your business.
Best suited to businesses whose brand foundations are already in place – or for those taking on both brand identity and website together as a combined project.
