Frequently Asked Questions

How do I know if I will like what you create for me?

I take the greatest care to follow your lead and craft visuals that align with your business identity and requirements. I will also forward a brand questionnaire for completion upon initial booking, which will give me excellent insight into what you need. At the end of the day, it’s my job and passion to create something both you and your customers will love.

Who will own the copyright?

If you purchase one of my Prestige or Success packages, you will. Upon completion of your project and full settlement of my invoice, I will assign full copyright ownership of your final files to you. I do, however, retain usage rights to your files for things like promotional, educational and marketing purposes – or else I wouldn’t technically be able to add them to my portfolio or social media feeds. This doesn’t apply if you’re purchasing the Essence package or a logo design separately and I retain all copyright for all other work (including unused concepts). If you purchase a standalone logo design and later want the copyright assigned to you, this can be arranged for an agreed-upon fee.

Will my logo be unique?

Yes, if you hire me for a custom branding package. I will create your logo design with your business in mind, so that your brand personality, vision and values are reflected in your visual identity. For these services, I do not use any templates or art assets created by others. Your logo will be sketched and then crafted in Illustrator (the industry standard) for total custom creation.

Who else works with you?

I am the only one who works in my design studio, however, I do partner with specialised creatives for tasks that require specific expertise for complex needs (like web design or printing) if what you require has scope for it.

How long will it take?

This depends on the package you choose, the complexity of you’re requirements, any additional project needs and the demands on my diary. There are also other variables, like how quickly you respond with revisions or approvals, how many revisions are needed etc. If you have a particular deadline in mind, drop me a line to discuss your requirements.

How does payment work?

To book my services, payment can either be made in full up front or with a 50% non refundable deposit and 50% upon completion (prior to final files being sent) payment agreement. To begin the process, please complete a quote request (or email me) to arrange booking your package.
