Brand Design for Wild Grove: Where Soap Meets Sunshine

Some projects just bloom.

This one? Pure Mediterranean magic. This Wild Grove identity project quickly turned into a full exploration of organic soap packaging design that felt both wild and refined. I imagined citrus groves, climbing vines, handmade paper, and that fresh, herbaceous scent of something real. The kind of packaging that makes you want to slow down, take a deep breath, and run your thumb along the edge of the paper – and soap that feels like a slow morning in a terracotta kitchen.

The Brief: The Inspiration Behind This Organic Soap Packaging & Brand Design

Wild Grove is an organic soap brand rooted in simplicity, sustainability, and that earthy-luxe kind of beauty. I received the concept through a Briefclub prompt (a lovely little creative corner on Instagram where designers get to flex and dream). Their ask?

Designing a Logo and Package That Feels Organic (and Luxurious)

The Process

I always begin by listening — even to an imaginary brand like this one.

Who would Wild Grove be if it walked into a room? What would she wear? What kind of scent would cling to her skin? (Hint: probably bergamot and a bit of orange blossom.)

From there:

  • I mapped out competitors to see what was working (and more importantly, what wasn’t).
  • Researched organic soap packaging design for existing brands
  • Built a visual world with mood boards full of sun-washed stone, climbing vines, olive trees, and slow living.
  • Explored typography that whispered elegance without losing that untamed, leafy wildness.

The wordmark became the anchor — a modern serif with soft swashes that grow like tendrils. I let the brand breathe between structure and spontaneity.

The Palette

Fresh. Zesty. Sun-soaked. Think citrus groves meeting Mediterranean gardens. Greens that feel alive. Ochres and creams like drying herbs on a linen cloth. It had to feel clean — but never clinical.

Brand Identity and Organic Soap Packaging Design: Deliverables

And oh, there were plenty (I got a bit carried away…).

  • ✦ Wordmark
  • ✦ Longline + stacked logos
  • ✦ 3 x circular badge logos
  • ✦ Custom initials logo
  • ✦ Organic tree graphic (logo mark)
  • ✦ 3 x custom illustrated pattern designs
  • ✦ 3 x Organic Style Soap Packaging Designs
  • ✦ Paper gift bag design
  • ✦ Coordinating tissue paper pattern
  • ✦ Round sticker seal design

This one reminded me that small details make big impressions. A soap sleeve might seem tiny — but when it sings in harmony with everything else, that’s when a brand begins to feel alive.

Organic Soap Packaging Design for Founders Who Want to Be Remembered

Let’s be honest — we’ve all seen beautiful branding that fades the moment you scroll past it. But the brands that stick? The ones we can almost smell and feel in our memory? Those are built with intention.

Wild Grove may have been a fictional concept, but it held a very real truth: You don’t need to be loud to be remembered. You need presence. Texture. A kind of quiet confidence that wraps around every touchpoint — especially in your packaging. Because here’s the thing: your audience doesn’t just want to see your brand. They want to feel it. They want to know they’re holding something made with care — from the logo on the box to the sleeve around the soap bar.

And if you’re a founder creating something with heart, you deserve a visual identity that reflects the full depth of what you do. Something that lingers long after someone first interacts with it. Like a scent they can’t quite name, but can’t stop thinking about.
